Safely shipping and handling today’s thin optical filters can be a challenge. Small part sizes and narrow substrate thickness can lead to breakage and yield loss during transport and offloading. Gel-Pak’s Vacuum Release Trays^TM provide the ideal solution to ensure that fragile optical filters remain damage-free during transport.

Filters packaged in a Vacuum Release Tray^TM lay on a mesh material over a gel membrane. This provides optimal gel surface contact and immobilizes the filters during shipping and handling.
