COVID-19 Update
In light of the recent concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to inform you that Gel-Pak is closely monitoring the latest developments and making adjustments wherever possible to prioritize product delivery to essential businesses.
The health and well-being of our employees and partners remains our top priority. Gel-Pak’s management response team is evaluating the situation and implementing precautionary measures in line with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities.
A mandated “Shelter-in-Place” order issued for the San Francisco Bay Area effective March 17, 2020 will have an impact on our Hayward operation. It is likely that in the coming weeks many of our employees will be required to work from home. Under these conditions Gel-Pak’s ability to manufacture product will be reduced thereby extending shipping times to our customers. Again, customers who are considered an “Essential Service” or engaged in “Essential Activities” as defined by the order will be prioritized.
Gel-Pak has business continuity plans in place, which are intended to limit the impact of any interruption in production to our customers. Even in these disconcerting times, we are fully committed to supporting your business in every way we can.
